Workshop activities and objectives have been designed for experienced FTO’s and will highlight strategies to effectively coach todays’ trainee. Trainees will gain critical leadership, interpersonal and coaching skills that are needed to work in today’s stressful one-on-one field training environment. Throughout the day the trainer will be exposed to coaching and documentation strategies that promote critical-thinking, problem-solving and interpersonal-skills.
Objectives:
-Accomplishing training effectiveness with todays' trainee, lateral or limited life experience.
-Create learner-centric field training settings.
-Reinforce the "Telling Ain't Training".
-Review approaches to the coaching and evaluations process.
-Highlight effective training strategies.
-List of 12 qualities of outstanding trainers.
-Review John C. Maxwell's Five Levels of Leadership and how it pertains to FTO's.
-Discuss how to refine training approaches with immediate and simple modifications.
-Use Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning to create daily training objectives and effectively assess trainee performance.
-Refresh the trainers understanding of the use of training guides to help document training coverage while prioritizing effective training.
-Review remedial training strategies and remedial work plans.
-Complete video practicals.
