MUST set up a student account with SWIC to participate. Complete the steps in the attached "SWIC Pre-Registration Directions- SILEC Students" flyer and then call the Academy at (618) 222-5396 when you receive your SWIC Student ID number.
This online program will provide skills and techniques in handling juvenile problems in our society and training in dealing with the various juvenile situations. Participants will take a detailed look at the updated Juvenile Court Act and its implication in the field. Juvenile gangs, substance abuse, alternative to detention, abuse, neglect, missing children, exploitation, criminal sexual assault, and more will be covered.
